William Wirt Middle School
Project Overview
The new 168,500-square-foot William Wirt Middle School building is complete, replacing the original 1964 facility and providing space for up to 1,200 students. The approximately $85 million project addresses overcrowding, improves air quality, and replaces aging building systems. The project’s four phases include site preparation and modular relocation, construction of the new building, demolition of the former school, and completion of site amenities, including ball fields and parking.
