The Department of Capital Programs is dedicated to delivering safe, appropriately sized, and modern educational facilities that enhance transformative learning experiences for all students and communities within Prince George's County Public Schools. The department oversees the planning and execution of all renovation and construction projects across the district. Its responsibilities are organized into four key areas:

Guided by the theme Planning Together. Building the Future., the Department of Capital Program is inviting students, families, educators, staff, elected officials, community members, and local partners to help shape this vision.

The Capital Improvement Program (CIP) is a spending plan that outlines planned school facility projects and funding priorities over the next six years. Attend the public hearing to hear more about the proposed plan and share your feedback on near-term capital investments in PGCPS schools.
