March 28, 2025, WE MADE HISTORY!!! In partnership with the Ben Carson Reading Project and Pohanka Automotive Group of Capitol Heights, the 300th Reading Room was officially opened at our bear cave, John Bayne Elementary School!! Not only are we the 300th room, we are also the 1st room installed in Prince George’s County!! A special thank you to Mrs Candy Carson, Mr Geoff Pohanka, the Carson Scholars Fund, Pohanka Automotive Group, the Reading Room Committee, and everyone who attended and/or contributed to this amazing effort!!
