Be Ready for 2026–27 School Bus Service
Families whose children will ride the bus should take action now to ensure transportation is ready for the first day of school. Students must be fully enrolled by Friday, July 31, to be assigned a bus for the first day, and families should download our bus tracking app to receive real-time bus locations, arrival times, and transportation alerts.

High school students now have more ways than ever to earn college credits while still in high school at no cost. In addition to Prince George's Community College, eligible students can now take Dual Enrollment courses through Bowie State University and the University of Maryland Global Campus, expanding access to college-level learning and new pathways to future success.
Attend a virtual session on Wednesday, July 29, at 6 p.m. to learn how Dual Enrollment works, explore your options and get your questions answered.
Free Back-to-School Immunizations
Maryland State Law requires all students enrolled in Pre‑Kindergarten through Grade 12 to receive age‑appropriate immunizations. For the latest information on free immunization clinics for students, visit the immunization webpage!

Children and teens can enjoy free breakfast and lunch at participating school meal sites!

Round Up at Giant to Support Student Nutrition
From 7/10 - 8/6, round up your purhcase at Giant to benefit local school district's lunch and nutrition programs.
Through August 6, shop at any Giant Food store and round up your purchase at the register to help provide weekend meals, pay off student lunch debt, and stock community food pantries through the Nourishing Our Youth program.
