International High School at Largo Seniors Shine Through Scholarships,Service, and Perseverance.
The graduating Class of 2026 from International High School at Largo achieved remarkable success in academics, leadership, and community service. Collectively, the class earned more than $1.4 million in
scholarship awards and completed over 4,000 service learning hours, demonstrating a strong commitment to both educational excellence and civic engagement.
Nearly one-third of the graduating class earned the Seal of Biliteracy, recognizing proficiency in multiple languages and reflecting the school’s rich cultural and linguistic diversity.
Valedictorian Khatira Rustami exemplifies resilience and determination. A refugee from Afghanistan and the first person in her family to graduate from high school, Rustami was admitted to Stanford University before
ultimately accepting a full scholarship to George Washington University. Her story reflects the perseverance, ambition, and promise that define the Class of 2026.
