Dear Oxon Hill Families and Partners,

Welcome to the 2026 -2027 school year! We are so excited to partner with you, share our vision and welcome your invaluable feedback.

Last year, our STARlars proved that hard work pays off. Check out some of our amazing highlights from last year:

• Gains in daily attendance and i-Ready reading proficiency
• Growth in Science & Tech program admissions, plus 8th-grade applications to the International High School and CTE programs.
• Champions! Our 6th-grade Accelerated Math class won 1st Place in the district math competition!

There is no stopping us now-we are on the move! This year, we are dedicated to helping every student find their unique brilliance and build a hopeful future.

To keep things running smoothly, please stay connected to our X page, ParentVue, and our school website. Also, please look out for the Parent Emergency Form coming home. We need a signed copy by the end of September so that we can safely authorize early dismissals for your student when needed.

A quick reminder on our daily schedule:

• School Hours: 8:30 AM to 3:15 PM
• Early Pick-up Deadline: 2:30 PM (This helps get all 780+ students home safely and on time!)
