Testing Information
- An online application for each student candidate must be filled out by March of every school year.
- Testing occurs between April and June.
- Students must have a PGCPS Student Identification number before taking the test. More information on registering in PGCPS.
- If there are no available seats at your assigned school/grade testing will not occur.
- If more students pass the test than we have available seats for a lottery will occur for all eligible candidates and spots will be awarded through that lottery.
- In order to be considered eligible for a testing-in spot in the Immersion programs lottery-based schools, students must demonstrate a level of language proficiency equivalent to the grade in which they are seeking entry and a level of English language proficiency suitable for the grade level.
- Assigned Immersion schools are determined by boundary/address. To see which Immersion school your child would attend, use SchoolFinder and scroll down to the bottom to see your assigned French or Spanish Immersion school.
