The co-location of Dora Kennedy French Immersion and Robert Goddard Montessori School will take place at the existing Robert Goddard site, following a feasibility study that determined Dora Kennedy’s current building is no longer viable and that capital improvement funds are committed elsewhere through 2030. This approach builds on the schools’ shared history, supporting resource sharing and collaboration while preserving each school’s unique identity, curriculum, and academic standards. A new two-story modular building with 18 classrooms will replace an existing single-story modular, increasing total capacity to 1,448 students and providing modern, accessible learning spaces. Ongoing planning, engagement, and coordination will guide logistics, transportation, and the transition to ensure continuity for students, staff, and families.

Construction teams are moving forward with modular classroom replacement work, including site preparation, foundations, and placement of a new two-story modular expansion.
