Greetings, Robert Goddard Montessori Community,

I hope you’re all having a wonderful start to the week!

A big thank you to the parents who attended our focus group as well as those who joined us for TAG Night. Your engagement and feedback are invaluable as we work together to support our students' success.

I’m pleased to share that we completed Quarter 1 benchmark testing on Friday. Once all sections have been scored, we will share the results with you. We appreciate your patience as we finalize this important assessment process.

In other exciting news, this week is Fall Spirit Week at RGMS! It’s a fantastic opportunity for students to show their school spirit and have some fun. Be sure to check out the flyer below for all the details on our themed days. We can't wait to see everyone participating!

As we move forward, here are a few important reminders and upcoming events:

• National Junior Honor Society Canned Food Drive: The NJHS is organizing a canned food drive to help those in need. Please see the flyer for more information on how to contribute.
• Fall Spirit Week: November 18 to 22. Please see the flyer and participation is voluntary. 
• Nov. 19: Support Robert Goddard at the Franklin's Restaurant & Shop PTSA Fundraiser - 5123 Baltimore Ave, Hyattsville, MD 20781. Be sure to share at the register that you want your sales credited to the RGMS fundraiser. All purchases apply (gifts, toys, dinner, drinks). This is our best fundraiser of the year, so please join us and encourage friends and family to stop by!
• Dec. 2: PTSA Volunteer Committee Meeting - 7 PM (virtual). Interested in volunteering with the PTSA? The meeting will discuss how to become a volunteer and events that need support. Join via Zoom: https://us04web.zoom.us/j/78129337316?pwd=P2W7z2HvdidcFNiXfbCzXvQ9bwYH2Z.1 
• Dec. 11: PTSA Staff Stock the Lounge (Holiday Edition!) - Support RGMS staff by donating individually packaged food and drink items for the teacher and staff lounge. Sign up coming soon! 
• Dec. 13 - PTSA Movie Night: The PTSA is looking for volunteers for next month's movie night.Thank you for your continued support, and here’s to a fantastic week of teaching and learning!
