Celebrating History, Achievement, and Community

Welcome to February! As we settle into the second half of the school year, our focus is on celebrating cultural history, maintaining academic momentum, and recognizing our students' dedication to attendance.

Winter Weather Alert: Bundle Up!

It's cold outside! With the extremely cold temperatures we are experiencing, please ensure your child arrives at school dressed appropriately for the weather.

  • Students should wear heavy coats, gloves, mittens, and scarves.
  • Stay Warm Layers: To help combat the cold, we are encouraging students to wear blue or red sweaters for extra warmth.

Celebrating Black History Month

We are proud to honor the contributions and legacy of Black Americans throughout the month. This year, we encourage our students to reflect on the power of learning with this thought:

"The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character—that is the goal of true education."Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
