Freedom Journey

Author, artist, environmentalist, and literary consultant Caroline Brewer will be joining us to lead the program with her highly engaging presentation of her Biography in Poems: Harriet Tubman, Force of Nature. Harriet Tubman knew the sky intimately from the time she was a child. That knowledge later empowered her to become a "conductor" on the Underground Railroad, guiding more than 70 enslaved people north to freedom.
