About Dr. Andrew Zuckerman

Dr. Andrew Zuckerman serves as the Chief Information and Technology Officer for Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS). A dedicated leader with a foundation in the district as a classroom teacher and later Area Associate Superintendent, Dr. Zuckerman brings a combination of deep institutional knowledge and extensive leadership experience to his role.

Throughout his career, Dr. Zuckerman has focused on transforming educational systems to achieve equitable outcomes for students, families, and communities. In addition to PGCPS, his experience includes seven years with Montgomery County Public Schools as Chief of Staff and Chief Operating Officer, as well as leadership roles in the charter sector, where he helped launch high-performing schools with the KIPP and Achievement First networks across Washington, D.C., New York City, and New Haven, Connecticut.

Dr. Zuckerman began his career teaching sixth grade in D.C. Public Schools. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Cornell University, as well as a Master's degree and an Ed.D. from Columbia University.
