About Professional School Counseling Services
Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS), the Office of Professional School Counseling Services, follows the American School Counseling Association (ASCA) model to deliver comprehensive school counseling services that address the academic, career, and emotional/social development of all students. Our counseling programs are structured to be an integral part of students’ daily educational environment.
The Professional School Counseling Office collaborates with other offices, teachers, administrators, and the overall community to benefit students and parents.
