FY-27 Approved PGCEA National Certifications
Unit I employees who have attained NBPTS or national certifications in other subjects or disciplines who DO NOT meet the standards specified in Section 21 .15 A shall receive a salary increase of $5000 annually.
FY-27 ASASP Approved National Certifications
A unit member who has successfully completed an attained and approved national certification, for example, the National Board for the Professional Teaching Standards, shall receive a one-time lump sum payment of $1,000.00 for the first year of the certification and a stipend of $5,000.00 per year for certification for each year the certification remains in good standing. This advanced certification may or may not be required as a condition of employment.
FY-27 Approved ACE-AFSCME National Certifications
For Non School Based Administrative Office Personnel-Administrative Office Support Personnel who receive an approved National Certification will receive a one-time stipend of $1,750 for the first year of the certification and an additional $1,500 stipend for each year the certification is maintained. A maximum of one certification will be paid annually.
