UPPER MARLBORO, MD — Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) and the Maryland Consortium on Coordinated Community Supports today announced the renewal of an $18 million grant to strengthen behavioral and mental health services for students.

The funding will support partnerships with 15 community organizations to expand school-based mental health programs. More than 25,000 students received services through the initial $25 million grant last year; the new award is expected to reach more than 30,000 students.
