As the district continues its phased rollout of the Chipmunk App , more families will soon be able to use it to track their child’s school bus in real time. New bus lots will come online during the week of November 17, allowing families whose students’ routes operate from these lots to begin using the app.
Lots expected to come online the week of November 17 are:
*Friendly (Routes 871–940)
*Laurel (Routes 596–660)
*Mullikin (Routes 371–455)
*Greenbelt (Routes 456–530)
Families can check the PGCPS Transportation website for a timeline of when each bus lot will be added to the app.
The phased rollout supports accuracy and a smooth experience for families as PGCPS works to expand districtwide access, with nearly 5,000 parents and guardians already using the app.
