📚 Building Our New Strategic Plan

Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) is embarking on a multi-phase strategic planning process to shape the district's future.The plan is being developed through five key phases: Plan, Discover, Engage, Draft, and Launch. Throughout this process, we will gather input from district leaders, staff, students, and families to establish priorities, define measurable goals, and create a clear road map for success.

  • Conduct focus groups with students, families, staff, and community partners

  • Share summary data with district leadership and proposing priorities

  • Share emerging themes with stakeholders and gather additional insights to confirm/refine the proposed priorities.

  • Identify trends and key takeaways that inform strategy development

  • Develop key metrics, strategies, aligned actions, and key influencers
