About

What is a Community School?

A community school is more than just a place where students go to learn—it’s a vibrant, welcoming hub where children, families, educators, and community partners come together to support the success and well-being of every student.

At our community school, learning doesn’t stop at academics. We will provide access to things like health care, after-school programs, family resources, and mental health support—all under one roof. We focus on the whole child, helping students grow not only in knowledge, but also in confidence, health, and connection.

Families are valued as true partners, and the entire community plays a role in shaping a safe, inclusive, and thriving school environment.

At its heart, a community school is a place where everyone belongs and every child has what they need to shine—in school and in life!

Community School Coordinator Role

As a Community School Coordinator, I help make sure our school is more than just a place to learn—it’s a place where every student and family feels supported and connected. I work with teachers, families, and community partners to bring in resources like after-school programs, health services, and family events. My goal is to build strong relationships and ensure that every child has what they need to thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally. I’m here to listen, to connect, and to help our school grow as a hub of opportunity for everyone.
