Monday January 27th we have a 3 hour early dismissal for students. The school will be dismissed at 1:10 p.m. Buses will arrive on campus for our bus riders and we are asking our parents to pick up their students promptly.

We are participating in the Chesapeake Baysox Reading Program. Students must read (4) books to win (2) tickets to a Baysox baseball game. This event ends on March 5, 2025. New Date for Middle School Basketball Championship. The basketball championship will now be played on Wednesday Jan. 29th at Wise High School. EEJ Boys Basketball Team will be going against Gwynn Park Boys Basketball Team. Ticket Information will be shared to our school community once that information is given to Mr. McDonald.
On Wednesday Jan. 29th during our 5th & 6th MODs we will be having an In-School Parade Processional to celebrate our Boys team for playing in the championship game for the 3rd straight year. We want to send them off in a good way.
Congratulations to our EEJ Eagles Cheer Team for placing 5th in the PGCPS Middle School Cheer Championship that was held at Wise High School this past Friday Night. Our coaches and cheerleaders practice really hard during the winter season so they can perform in front of our fans during the home Basketball games. We will see them on Wednesday Night at the Championship Game.
