Medication
Medicine, including aspirin can not be administered by the school. Students who need to take medication must have the appropriate form available from the office, signed by the physician, before medication can be brought to the school. The medication and for must be left in the nurse’s office. Please do not send medication to school with your child. Health screenings include vision and hearing for grades 1, 3, 5, and students new to the school, and scoliosis screening for grade 6. Students to become ill at school are sent to the nurse. The nurse generally takes their temperature to determine if the fever exist. If she feels the child should go home you will be notified.
