Bus Regulations
Students are assigned by computer to ride school buses that will pick them up and drop them off and close proximity to their home or daycare. You can access information on specific bus stops and times at the Prince George's County Public Schools website's Transportation Office. Students are not allowed to ride the bus other than their assigned bus. Students should be at the bus stop 5 to 10 minutes before the scheduled arrival time of the bus. Students should wait for the bus in an orderly manner, following the directions of the patrols, if one is placed at the stop. It is essential that a safe and orderly environment is present on each School Bus. General rules for riding the bus include: ride only the bus that you are signed, remain seated while the bus is in motion, talk quietly on the bus, no eating or drinking on the bus, do not extend arms, head, or any object from windows and do not throw objects from the bus. Referrals from bus drivers for misconduct may result in a suspension of the child's privileges of riding the bus. Fighting will result in immediate suspension from the bus. Parents who have volunteered at school can ride the bus home with their children if he or she receives a letter from the principal and submits it to the bus driver.

Los estudiantes pueden perder el privilegio de transportarse en el autobUs si los conductores de autobus presentan denuncias de mala conducta. Se suspendera inmediatamente del servicio de transporte en autobus a los estudiantes que participen en peleas. Los padres que son voluntarios en la escuela pueden transportarse en autobus con sus nifios si presentan al conductor del autobus una carta de autorizaci6n de parte del di rector.
