PGCPS Budget Updates & Town Hall Invitation
PGCPS has shared that the district is facing significant budget shortfalls due to rising operational costs, reduced federal pandemic funds, and mandated increases in staffing, transportation, and special education services. These challenges may impact class sizes, staffing levels, and school-based programs.
Families are encouraged to attend one of the Dollars & Decisions Town Halls, where district leaders discuss the budget and gather community input.

Over 1,450 Honor Roll Scholars!
We are proud to celebrate that more than 1,450 students—over 54% of CHFHS enrollment—earned Honor Roll for the first quarter! This reflects the hard work and commitment of our students and educators.
Honor Roll Assemblies: December 9–10
A detailed schedule will be shared soon.
Benchmark Assessments
Students are currently completing benchmark exams in math, English, science, and social studies. These assessments help teachers plan targeted instruction. Please encourage your scholar to get proper rest and arrive on time.
