Parent and Community Advisory Council

Established by Board Policy 1500, the Parent and Community Advisory Council provides counsel and advice on issues pertaining to student academic achievement, parental and community engagement and public perception of PGCPS

Ethics Panel

Pursuant to Board Policy 0107, the Board of Education appoints an Ethics Panel that serves as the advisory board responsible for interpreting the Board's Ethics Policy and advising persons subject to this policy regarding its application.

Disability Issues Advisory Board

Pursuant to Board Policy 1700, The DIAB Committee of the Board of Education of Prince George's County is dedicated to ensuring equal opportunity and access to education for all individuals, regardless of ability. In alignment with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Maryland Human Rights Act, the committee works to uphold the legal requirements that mandate accessible programs and facilities for individuals with disabilities. Additionally, the committee strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment within the Prince George's County Public Schools, fostering inclusivity beyond legal compliance.
